Negative experience at Hairhouse Warehouse Earlville
I would like to share my negative experience at Hairhouse Warehouse Earlville.
I went in there one day asking to have my regrowth highlighted as the rest of my hair was already done. Usually it is quite routine and normally costs me around $100 just for the regrowth. I wasnt quiet sure what she was doing but I did trust her because I did have a simple request. By the time we got to the basin to wash out my hair I realised something had gone very wrong. The hairdresser had used bleach and had highlighted the entire length of my hair using bleach. She must have realised that it was terribly wrong as she was asking for advice and used a large amount of toner to darken my hair. She then told me that I would need to keep applying a colour toner treatment every so often to keep the colour. I was shocked because all I had asked was my regrowth to be highlighted. I was confused becasue why should I have to pay for toner to cover up her mistake? I have never had to do this before. When I left, my hair was pretty much black all over and had lost all the highlights that had cost me over $300 to get done to the whole length. Not only that, I had to pay a large sum of money as they used so much toner to try and fix it up.
A few days later, I went in looking for a solution. I was not happy with what happened next. The staff there there tried to make me feel like it was all my fault and that I didnt explain what I wanted properly. I was made to feel very little as I sat in the chair and they pretty much tried to put it all back onto me. They were rude in their attitude towards me through their speech and body language. Also, I was not even given an apology once. When asked for a refund they refused but offered to redo it to how I wanted it as if it was such an unusual request. After the rudeness and blame they tried to shift onto me, I felt why would I want them to touch my hair again??
I had one simple request and that was for my regrowth to be highlighted to match the existing highlights that were already there.
Feedback to the business: Reconsider your refund policy and listen to your customers better. Conduct around customers including rudeness should also be reconsidered.
I will be sticking to my regular hairdresser from now on.

Hairhouse warehouse
Hi,
I use to work in that industry and that is wrong the way you were treated. I would get in contact with the manager or maybe even go to their head office. If we ever treated our customers like that they wouldn't come back and that is not good for the business.

Care Required Regarding Defamation
This is not how the business works, and this is not how this situation "went down" as I was having my hair done right beside her & left at the same time. I might be seen as biased by some, as I am a friend of the owners, but my comments reflect fact, rather than the fiction expressed by CairnsLocal10. The comments by "GamerGirl" now actually make it a legal right for the business to pursue "Cairnslocal10", and my understanding is that they are considering action.
